Delay Claim Builder ("we", "our", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal data when you use our platform at delayclaimbuilder.com.

1. Data We Collect

We collect: account information (name, email, company, phone number), project and claim data you enter into the platform, contract documents you upload, and anonymous usage analytics via Plausible (cookie-free, no personally identifiable information).

2. How We Use Your Data

We use your data to: provide and operate the Delay Claim Builder service, authenticate your account, save and retrieve your drafts, generate AI-assisted claim narratives, send transactional emails (sign-in links, account notifications), and improve our services.

3. AI Processing

When you generate a claim narrative, your project data is transmitted to Anthropic's Claude API for processing. This data is used solely to generate the output you requested. We do not knowingly permit Anthropic to use your data for training their AI models. AI-generated outputs are first drafts only and do not constitute legal or professional advice.

4. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored in a PostgreSQL database hosted by Supabase on servers located in Singapore. We implement encrypted connections (HTTPS), row-level access controls, and authentication via password. While we take reasonable steps to protect your data, no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure.

5. Third-Party Services

We share data only with: Supabase (database and authentication), Anthropic (AI narrative generation), Vercel (application hosting), and Cloudflare (DNS, CDN, and security). We do not sell your personal data.

6. Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time. To exercise these rights, contact us at hello@delayclaimbuilder.com. We will respond within 30 days.

7. Data Retention

We retain your account and claim data for as long as your account remains active. Upon account deletion request, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where required by law to retain it.

8. Cookies

We use Plausible Analytics which does not use cookies and does not collect personally identifiable information. No cookie consent banner is required. We do not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels.
